I’m Doug Silkstone, a product engineer and growth consultant. I help client teams deliver their roadmap and use agents across engineering, growth and operations.

The short version

I’ve worked across more than 100 client engagements, including projects for Groupon, The Motley Fool, Framer and Contra. Alongside consulting, I’ve founded and sold three software businesses. That combination has shaped how I approach product work: the decisions about what to build matter as much as the implementation.

My work spans product design, software engineering, acquisition and analytics. A project might begin with a customer journey that needs improving or a question the existing data cannot answer. I work through the problem with the team, decide what needs changing and build it.

Agents are now part of that process. I use them to research, write code, run checks and handle recurring operational tasks. I set the brief, review the work and take responsibility for what reaches customers.

The recent client projects featured here cover more than software development. They include finding customers, answering questions and improving operations after launch. The case studies describe the work in detail, including the results recorded at the time.
